Disclosures

What we are, what we are not, how we are paid, and the limits of what this site can tell you. All of it stated plainly, because a site that confirms prices on the call rather than on the page has to be unambiguous about everything else.

Fibrix Solutions Inc. is an independent authorized reseller of internet and home security service. We are not the service provider: service, equipment, billing and account help come from the provider you choose. We sell new service only and cannot access existing accounts or bills. Availability and terms are confirmed for your exact address before you order. Read the full disclosures.

What We Are

Fibrix Solutions Inc. is an independent authorized reseller of residential internet and home security services. We sell, quote and coordinate the installation of services that are delivered by third-party network operators and monitoring companies.

We are not a service provider. We do not own or operate a network, we do not operate a monitoring centre, and we do not perform the installation ourselves. Those are carried out by the underlying provider and its technicians.

What We Are Not

We are not the service provider, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any network operator or monitoring company beyond the scope of our reseller agreements.

Provider names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners, shown only to identify the services we are authorized to resell.

We sell new service. We cannot access an existing provider account, change a bill, or arrange a repair or a service visit. For any of those, contact your provider directly using the details on your bill or its official website.

We do not represent that we sell every service available at any address. We sell what our reseller agreements cover, and where a better option exists that we cannot supply, we will say so on the call.

How We Are Compensated

We are paid a commission by the underlying provider when a service we sell is installed and activated. You are billed by the provider, not by us, and our commission does not add to what you pay.

Because commission rates differ between providers and between tiers, we state this plainly: if two options genuinely suit you equally, we have a commercial interest in one of them. Ask which and we will tell you.

Why No Prices Appear on This Site

Pricing, promotional terms and fee structures are set by the underlying provider, vary by address and market, and change without notice. Publishing a figure would make it wrong for most readers.

This site therefore publishes the full technical specification of everything we sell and confirms the commercial terms on the call. Nothing about that arrangement is intended to make comparison harder — the specifications on these pages are more detailed than a priced page would carry, for exactly that reason.

Accuracy of the Specifications on This Site

Every tier, package and market page carries a 'Details verified' date. That date is when the figures on it were last reconciled against our dealer portal.

Specifications change. Where a figure on this site conflicts with what the provider states at the point of sale, the provider's own documentation governs. We will always tell you on the call if something has moved since a page was verified.

Service Availability

Availability is determined per address by the underlying provider's systems, not by us and not by this site. Market-level coverage stated anywhere on this site is an indication only.

A build commonly covers one side of a street and not the other, and reaches a block of houses but not an apartment building on the same corner. No availability statement on this site should be relied upon in place of the address-level check we perform on the call.

Alarm Permits and Municipal Charges

Many municipalities require an annual alarm permit for any system capable of causing a police or fire dispatch, and many levy a charge for dispatches to an unpermitted system or for repeated false alarms.

Obtaining and renewing a permit is the property owner's responsibility. We will tell you on the call whether your municipality requires one, but we cannot obtain it for you.

Monitoring and Life Safety

No security system prevents an intrusion, a fire or a medical emergency. A monitored system reduces response time by ensuring a signal reaches an operator who can dispatch; it does not guarantee a response time and does not guarantee prevention of loss.

Monitoring depends on the signal paths available at your property, including cellular coverage. An unmonitored system produces no dispatch of any kind, and this site says so on every page where an unmonitored option appears.

Contracts and Early Termination

Terms, early termination mechanisms and equipment ownership are set by the underlying provider. This site describes the mechanism — how a charge is calculated and how it changes over the term — and never an amount, because amounts vary by address and by the terms current at the time of sale.

You will be given the full commercial terms, in writing, by the provider before any agreement takes effect. Read them. Nothing said on a call with us replaces that document.
