What it can
Which services exist in your market, whether fiber has been built there at all, and whether both services can be ordered together. That is enough to know whether a conversation is worth having, and it takes seconds.
What it cannot
Confirm your specific address. Fiber builds cover one side of a street and not the other, and reach a block of houses but not the apartment on the corner. Only a live lookup against the provider system answers that, and that is what happens on the call.

Does checking availability commit me to anything?

What if nothing is available at my address?

How current is the coverage data?
